Chain Jane vs. Streetbeat

My name shows up in the end credits as "Camera Operation".

Well, it took a while to be... well, finished as a deleted scene. At least it didn't just die like my own film projects. ^^;

This was filmed over two days, nonconsecutive. Day 1 had a far worse circumstances in the sense the sun + heat made the conditions grueling. While I did wear a cap, I got a bad case of sunburn on my neck and arms. I was molting for weeks. XD

Maybe about a month(?) later (long after I stopped molting), we gathered again to finish filming and I made sure to take some sunscreen with me. The sun wasn't as intense on the second day of filming but I'm glad I took sunscreen with me anyway. (I bought SPF 110.)

In the video, these lines are said:

<Chain Jane> What's the matter, Alex? Don't you have something funny to say?
<Streetbeat> Marry me.

I suggested a "screwball comedy" idea of showing Jane and Streetbeat getting married in a quick mock ceremony, Jane realizing what's going on at that moment and then punching the camera, but the circumstances of how much time we had to finish everything necessary prevented us from even attempting this at all.

Blast From the Past: Crackle Presents

Hey, I didn't have a post in 2013! XD



Years ago, the voice-over was something I was hired to do because the producer and director wanted "something cool in Japanese" while promoting the Crackle web site. Crackle subsequently died. I wondered what happened to the commercial and someone (I'm guessing the producer) actually uploaded it to Youtube.

Neither the producer nor director knew a lick of Japanese so my voice-over doesn't match what shows up in the subtitles at all.

In terms of e-peen, my name shows up at the 3:05 mark.

I was asked to provide the English language text for this game, though I didn't finish that portion before the game went live at the Japanese side of DL Site. Not that it mattered because even if I were done, I still would have needed to translate the instruction manual because that arrived immediately after the game launched. XD

As of this writing, I completed the text for most of the in-game characters (seven to be exact). I still have four more characters' worth of text, as well as the instruction manual to go. I hope to be finished with them before Christmas.

So far, about the only "exciting" event with my own involvement was finding a spelling error in the earlier builds of the game. (Sailor) Uranus was spelled "URANOS" everywhere her name appeared, so I informed my contact at Chinchilla Softhouse this error should be corrected. The correct spelling now appears in the current build.
